A manually constructed state machine featuring INSERT and NORMAL modes, operations (remove, modify, copy; 556 lines), movements (h/j/k/l, w/b/e, W/B/E, 0/^/$, G), text objects (words, quotations, parentheses, braces), search motions (f/F/t/T with repetition via ;/,), indentation adjustments, line joining, character replacement, case switching, and action repetition. The transitions file (490 lines) manages the complete state machine logic.
